U.S. Treasury yields were little changed on Tuesday as investors awaited fresh inflation data and monitored developments in the Middle East. The benchmark 10-year Treasury yield edged down by around 1 basis point to approximately 4.69%.

The 2-year Treasury yield fell by more than 1 basis point to around 4.22%, while the 30-year yield slipped less than 1 basis point to roughly 5.24%. The moves come as markets assess the outlook for Federal Reserve interest rates and the potential path of monetary policy.

Oil prices also remained in focus amid heightened geopolitical tensions and their possible impact on inflation. WTI crude traded near $82 a barrel, while Brent crude was around $87, after prices initially moved higher following comments from President Donald Trump.

Investors are now turning their attention to Wednesday’s July inflation report, which could provide fresh clues about the Fed’s next moves. U.S. existing home sales data is also due Tuesday, with economists expecting sales to fall slightly to 4.04 million from 4.09 million in the previous month.
